Job Description

A Logan's Roadhouse expeditor wears many hats! The most important of which is to ensure quality and proper presentation in a timely manner. The position as an expeditor includes:

  • Fry and Appetizer
  • Preparation and setting up of all fried items, club sandwiches, appetizers, portioning of frozen prep, following pars accurately, and daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance of fryers and cheese melter.

  • Window
  • Reads tickets, pulls product from window in order specified on the ticket, calls side items and any special instructions, coordinates and communicates with grill cooks. Will sometimes prep sliced meat and cheese, prep wing sauce and sandwich sets.

  • Side Items
  • Reads tickets and ensures proper placement of side items on plates while noting any special instructions, ensures that freshly toasted buttered buns for burgers and sandwiches are available to grill cooks when needed, places rice sets in window and preps rice to recipe.

  • Garnish and Presentation
  • Reads tickets and confirms proper placement of product, side items and any special instructions, places butter in potatoes, places brown sugar-cinnamon mixture and butter in sweet potatoes, wipes excess fluids from plate and garnishes, places orders in expo window in proper order.

    NOTE - The first shift expo schedules trays and preps sweet and regular potatoes to par.
