Rob Effner joins growing casual concept as Vice President of Concept Development
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (November 19, 2003) — Logan's Roadhouse, Inc. continues to develop its brand identity with today's announcement that it has hired a key executive to fill a new position. Rob Effner joins the growing casual concept as Vice President of Concept Development, effective December 1st. Effner will provide leadership in the areas of design and construction, building prototype development, the bar and beverage program, and other significant operational initiatives. He will report directly to President and Chief Operating Officer Tom Vogel.

He is the perfect person for this new position because of his experience in operations, concept development, and new prototype design and construction."
Before joining Logan's Roadhouse®, Effner was with Red Lobster for 20 years, where he held positions in operations, training, strategic planning, operations development, and concept development. Most recently, he was responsible for leading cross-functional work teams in areas of remodels, design methodology, innovation, beverage deployment, and concept prototype development. His work has received awards such as Chain Store Age's Brand Reinvention and Nation's Restaurant News' Successful Settings.
The Logan's Roadhouse® concept is modeled after 1930's and 1940's roadhouses and has succeeded in appealing to a broad range of guests by offering generous portions of moderately priced, quality food in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Each unit offers a true Americana Roadhouse experience. Logan's trademark buckets of peanuts are at each table, and customers are welcome to watch the grill cooks through display windows.
